Coding Out of Poverty (C.O.O.P.) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to bridging the digital divide and advancing economic mobility by empowering systemically underserved, marginalized, and vulnerable communities through transformative STEAM education, technology, entrepreneurship, and community innovation.
We equip individuals with technical skills in coding, digital literacy, innovation, and problem-solving while empowering them to "write their own code"—to design, build, and implement solutions that address the unique needs, cultures, and aspirations of their communities. Through hands-on learning, mentorship, workforce development, and community-centered programming, we cultivate leadership, creativity, and self-sufficiency that extend far beyond technology.
